Collator

For NRI families

Your parents' world,
organised even when
you're an ocean away.

Property papers in one drawer, insurance in another, and you on a different continent. Collator gives your family one calm, organised picture of everything that matters, without putting any of it in the cloud.

The 2 a.m. phone call you're not ready for.

Distance makes everything slower: finding a document, reaching the right person, working out what your parents even have. None of that should depend on being in the same room.

"Where's the policy?"

A medical emergency means someone needs a policy number, fast, and you're twelve hours behind.

"Who's the family CA?"

Tax deadlines, FD renewals and property dues don't pause because you're abroad.

"Is there a will?"

Without a recorded will or nominee, families spend 3 to 6 months and ₹30,000 to ₹1.5 lakh on a succession certificate.

"What did we even have?"

₹2 lakh crore sits unclaimed in Indian financial institutions, often because no one knew an account existed.

How Collator helps

Set it up together, once

Next time you're home, spend an afternoon going through documents, assets, policies and people with your parents. It takes longer to find the right drawer than to enter it once.

Custody, not just content

Note where every original is kept, which locker, which folder, which relative holds a copy, so anyone in the family can find the physical document, not just a record of it.

Take a private copy with you

Export your vault to keep your own copy for emergencies. Nothing passes through a server, the file goes wherever you choose to keep it.

One price, wherever you are

A single lifetime purchase from the App Store or Play Store. No recurring international payments to track from a different country.

Your data stays
yours.

Everything lives on your device. No account, no server, no ads, no tracking. We never see it, and it is not for sale.

Questions families ask

We're spread across countries. How do we all see the same vault if there's no cloud?

Collator is usually set up on a device during a visit home. From there, the export feature lets you take a private copy of the vault and share it however your family already shares sensitive documents. There's no shared account or server in between, by design.

My parents aren't very tech-savvy. Is this for them or for me?

Either, or both. Many families set it up together: you do the organising during a visit or a call, and your parents keep the phone and the access afterwards.

Is this a will-writing service?

No. Collator helps you record what already exists, including wills, nominees and where things are kept. For drafting or updating a will, speak to a qualified lawyer.

Is any of this shared with you, or with anyone else?

No. Everything stays on the device it's entered on, and in your own backup if you enable one. Read more on our privacy page.
